This is my first attempt at a dagger, this one I hollow ground. I'm heat treating it now and will finish the grinds after.

Question, is it legal in Texas? Or to ask another way, when is it legal in Texas?

I don't think you can carry a knife with over 6" blade or one sharpened on both sides. Marine Kabar is illegal to carry on both points. This was in my CHL class decades ago.

If it's sharpened on both sides it's legal to own but illegal to carry. One reason I never made one. What's the use of a knife if you can only use it at home?

Back in the late 70's when I was really into custom knives they were legal in Texas but I thought the current laws had changed and made them illegal to carry and transporting could be a problem if you were stopped in transport from shop to house etc.
