this seems optimistic.... i wonder how close the numbers will prove out. .350 G7 Bryan Litz tested some of the ABLR bullets and found the BC's to be pretty close to advertised. The 129 grain .264 was only 1% lower. Their claims on the 142 grain do seem optimistic, but they don't seem to be exaggerating their claims like they tend to do with their other bullets.

Geez, that's a huge BC for caliber and weight. And only a 1% lie, that would make it .712
I really don't see how it's possible.

I was talking with someone last night, these will likely need a 1:7 due to the length of the bullet - you can confirm this with the Berger twist calculator as well. An 8 won't cut it.

So how long before you have a 1:7" barrel?

I'm not going to go that route until they are proven and I am not sure a 6.5x47 can push them hard enough to get their value. I was talking to Miller last night and the 6.5 SAUM is probably what would work the best (other than the Nosler 26 of course)
I'm busy building my monster anyway...

I really don't see how it's possible. The 1% difference is for the 129 grain bullet. I haven't seen any test data for the 142. It doesn't really seem possible to me, either. I was just pointing out that it might be close since what has been tested has been pretty close, so far. Not all were within 1%, but not bad. I'll see if I can find any data that Litz may have produced for this bullet.

G1 of .712 is higher than my Berger 7mm 180 gr VLD, which is 1 1/2" long. Just sayin.

Some of the bullets were off by as much as 8%. Using that figure, it knocks them down to .661, which is more believable. I'm betting on it coming in just shy of .700. I'm sure it'll be tested soon enough.
