I have not had the pleasure of hunting or eating quail since I left the Panhandle in '82. I have a customer in the quail raising business. Will I be disappointed in the taste of tame birds after eating wild birds for the first 30 years of my life ?

They are superb. Get the semi-boneless is you buy the already processed birds.

They are better, a little larger. Never ripped up by shot. However, most are not bobs but coturnix (old world quail) You won't be able to tell the difference between coturnix and bobs. They grow out to maturity twice as fast and incubate faster.
