Ok I have not updated mine as of yet...

But, have they given more reticle options? I would love to have a mil dot reticle option or how about allow us to disign and up load our own reticles to our scopes.

same recticles... But that is an awesome idea I know on the Pulsar N550 the user could do just that. A lot of people put there name in text with the recticle editor.

You may have to copy and past it in your browser.

It reads
"Well, mine has gone back today. Had a good chat with Scott Country and have also been asked to speak to the UK director of ATN which is promising. Apparently there is another firmware update due out any day now which will fix most if not all issues reported and make zeroing easier." by James Burchell

I am that man above! I will be speaking to the UK director of ATN tomorrow and will pass on my own feedback on the scope. However, as above ATN have stated to Scott Country, the UK distributor that a new update is imminent and will fix the known issues and make the zeroing process easier. Hopefully we,re looking at the next day or two.

FYI from facebook today.....

"Have had a good chat with both Paul from Scott Country and The UK Director of ATN. The zeroing bug is essentially fixed and ATN are now in the process of coding it into an update. Should be fixed any time now and at any rate in the next couple of weeks."

Yes I know the .200 update was released 6 days ago on 12/31/14. I'm referring to another update.

Not doubting you but for the most prt the reticle stills walks for people that have to make major zeroing adjustments. Im on a x of 9 and still have the walk.

With so much conversation about the Xsight, would anyone recommend it yet?

Just got my 5-18 yesterday. Downloaded and then checked the firmware level and it was .200. Reticle stayed centered throughout the range of the zoom. Scope and mount appear to be properly aligned with one another. Day and night clarity out to about 100 yards was quite good. The IR Illuminator helped greatly. I did find the Quick Reference Guide and the on-line User's Manual to be sorely lacking in details about how to do certain things! Like, how do you take a picture or a video with the scope? I've got the resolution set where I want it, and can track around and set up either a still or video picture session, but I can't figure out how to "snap a picture," or "roll a video!" Seems like some step-by-step directions would sure be helpful to those of us who are technically challenged. Overall, I'm favorably impressed with what I've seen, and weather permitting, will be taking the scope out to the range on Thursday for its first "real world" workout.

You don't have to doubt me, those were my customers reporting to me what they experienced

one told me that he has the unit with white buttons and he's not seeing as much problems as the
other customer with red buttons

tells me it could be hardware differences

I haven't seen one with white buttons. Only red or black. Interesting.

My brand new one has the white buttons rather than the red. Not certain what the difference is.

Probably nothing. Ran out of red buttons in China I imagine.

Any chance you could post a picture? I would be willing to buy that there have been hardware changes. The 3x I returned had black buttons, and was upgraded to v.200 and did not have smooth zoom like some others have described. Suspicious...

As things stand, the reticle will stay fixed if you haven't yet changed the point of zero. If you change it in the zero settings, it'll move when you zoom. The next update will fix this, so I was told today.
