As cheap as they are, I would go for it. I have two full size pistols, and they run great.

Forgive my ignorance but I always assumed that a 2011 was a double stack for some reason. Can anyone tell me why they call it a 2011?

No clue but its a single stack. I think its primarily due to the trigger and hammer upgrade. Possibly when the new design and features where intoduced
Found this The new 2011 series comes in two configurations, the single-stack model, which comes in .45acp and 10mm, and the high-capacity model, which comes in .45 or 9mm. Both have a full dust cover rail to even the weight and reduce recoil. Upgrades included are ambidextrous safety, combat hammer, and extended beavertail for maximum comfort and safety.

They are pretty nice for the price. They are worth giving a look. On my full size the trigger breaks a hair over 3.5# with the factory trigger. I had it checked

Forgive my ignorance but I always assumed that a 2011 was a double stack for some reason. Can anyone tell me why they call it a 2011? Generally when a pistol is referred to as a 2011, it is a double stack, suck as an STI,SVI, or even Para. For some reason, RIA decided to call its pistols with the aforementioned features "2011"
