Still seeing a lot of deer, but the red hot rut has just about come to a halt. Very little chasing, now.

thanks Sneaky! I might try to make another run out this coming weekend. They were chasing pretty good Dec. 21/22 when I was last out there.

BufordT, where abouts in Crockett county do you hunt? I am about 35 miles southwest off of Pandale Road to the west. What about your Sneaky?

30 miles south of Ozona off 163.

We were out there about the same time, and it was as hot as ever. Then, we went back on the 26th and 27th, and nothing. Plenty of deer at the feeders. Even some bucks. Just no chasing.

I had a place two seasons ago that was between Pandale and Juno. Strange place. Saw 6 deer all season, but killed two good bucks, anyway.
