I was talking to a friend the other day and he was complaining about loosing corn from tailgate feeder with it off? Is any one else having that problem? Or just his feeder? Open too wide?
Thanks,

His type of feeder is the problem. He needs one with an Eliminator Style spinner mechanism on it. Puts corn where you want and when you want.

Mine has a piece that slides over the opening. Just push it in until you feed again.

If it can be open too wide then it sounds like it has an adjustable baffle that regulates the flow. I close mine like Payne says, and when I'm ready to drop corn I open it back up. I don't loose any.
