Anybody with experience in dealing with river otter in east Texas lakes. I have lakes on my farm and the otter are tearing up the fish.

We have'em in texoma. Me and my buddies have a boat slip and had to resort to building lockable fish baskets because they raid the baskets and eat all your fish. No closed season on those things but they're hard to kill and harder to trap, at least it was for us. If you're lucky enough to see them in the daytime it'll be easier.
"Shut up and send me more pigs to kill!"

We saw em in the daytime on our place outside canton for a while. After I shot three of them with my AR they packed up shop and went to a new hood. You can spotlight them or just see them in the day.
