Any snake experts here. Got to looking closer at this snake and comparing photos, sure looks like a Mojave. I knew they were moving slowly east and had one confirmed in Howard Co back in 2002 by a veterinarian. This was in Lamb Co. Prairie rattlesnake. That light color phase is common in the panhandle.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.
