Great looking Ram Don and a super photo!! Am I correct in thinking that brooming is rubbing the tips off?

This past Spring I had 3 lambs and one by one they disappeared. Have not raised any in a couple of years.

We went and got a bunch of old net wire for free and put it in an L on the existing fence with a foot or 2 on the ground and my good friend was able to raise his mouflon and other sheep babies after that. Vey nice Mouflon!

You still gonna try and raise them or you gonna throw in the towl? Just keep them and see how it goes. Still have about 3000' of the old type net wire fence. Been putting up stay tuff and even put up a little over 2000' of 4"X 4" X 4' cattle panel over the existing fence. Don't have so much trouble with coyotes digging under they go through the old type net fence.

Have you tried poisoning the coyotes and running snares?
Buddy of mine brought in a bunch of bred does to his ranch over in tarpley. Once they dropped the fawns started disappearing.
Biologist suggested setting some snares, in the first week he caught 9 on 850 acres.

I do everything and use every product available on coyotes. You never kill them all. I kill all that get into my place but sometimes not until the damage is done.

Don I hate coyotes with a passion. I used to hunt for them exclusively and used to trap them frequently as a kid. As I said I really don't like the yotes but I'll give them credit. They are survivors, I think they will be the only thing left to eat the cockroaches after we are all gone! I've seen them at 14,000ft feeding on an elk carcass and now I'm seeing them down here at sea level in the damm swamps and they are everywhere in between. Stay after them sir, that's about all you can do. Baker

It gives me more pleasure shooting a mangy coyote than a big deer.

We used to run Great Pyrenees with our Barbados and never lost another kid.

We used to run Great Pyrenees with our Barbados and never lost another kid. Only problem is that at least these Mouflon are wilder than deer. You have to first get the dog and then the sheep used to each other. That is where the problem begins.
