I had the box but lost the receipt and they only wanted to give me 60% towards a new pair even if I exchanged it for the same model waders. I argued with every manager in the store and never got anywhere. Other have had better luck than me though.

1 year with receipt now. It used to be better- but now they only do the exchange deal or return with receipt. They also sell a replacement plan for $20 that gets you an extra 90 days past that year.
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

If you want some waders with a good warranty, go to academy, I've returned 2 year old torn up waders with no box or receipt with no questions asked. They're not as nice and fancy as other brands but they work good enough, and when they leak you get a new pair no matter what.

Yep, Academy is the way to go.
I worked there one summer while in college, and we it seemed we would take any and every return.

X2 for Academy waders.....I returned mine after two grueling seasons with no box or receipt and got in store credit for full price. Not necessarily the nicest pair, but their warranty sure was convenient.

If you're part of the Rewards Club and used it at time of purchase, they can use your membership number to look up the transaction. I just did that today at the Cabela's in Allen for a set that sprung a leak after a year.

Last year they told me there waders were 3 year warranty automatically and that you didn't have to by a extended warranty. I've returned 3 pairs with nothing but them pulling up my rewards card number. It seems to be the time of day and year and just who you get a hold of. That's a bad way to do business. I've taken back two pairs to academy but had a difficult time there too. Bass pro said they give one year only. I won't go there again.

I've had a pair of redhead extreme waders for the last 8 years. I returned two pair over the first 3-4 years when the seams began to leak. Never had an issue. The pair I have now are going on its 5th season. Guess I've gotten my money worth out of this pair. Coach
