I'm hunting a place in Bowie county for the first time and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on when they typically rut the hardest up that way?

It always seems to be around the 20th-25th give or a week or so in red river county.

Ok thanks bud. I've seen some young bucks chasing but don't really think the big boys are on their feet much yet. I've always hunted north Louisiana and it seems to peak around the 22nd over there. Sounds like it may be about the same in ne tx.
