Bought my wife a bow this spring and after wearing out our 3d targets at home all summer she's finally bringing home some venison. I was lucky enough to hunt with her and had a front row seat to the whole show. Two does came in, the larger of the two finally moved in at exactly 30 yards, quartering away, and held still long enough for her to make the shot. I could tell that was the best shot she was gonna get as they were about to head out. Jumped the string a bit but I expected that as I'm used to slower arrows from my longbow. The doe only ran 60 yards and hit the ground. No blood trailing lessons this time.
