Well the opener went pretty good for me. This was the pups "clutch" first hunt. And I'm pretty happy with how he did. Kept him on the leash most of the morning because I wasn't too sure how he was gonna react to the other dogs out in the field. But he did great. Went and "force fetched" the first few birds. Then after that it was like it clicked for him. He retrieved 4-5 by himself and he also helped out a guy that had lost a bird. Couldn't be happier with him. Can't wait till duck season to roll around!! Ended up with 17 between my father, girlfriend and I. Didn't get to do too much shootin because I was mainly there to work with clutch. And man the work paid off.

Great looking pup. Once you've hunted with a good dog you won't want to hunt without one.
