Not looking for a pattern debate. Asking more for a quality stand point. I would like to buy some new camo this year. For use in the panhandle. So pretty warm through most of hunting season, but the morning and some days can be down right cold. Thanks

Layered up is one key. But for me, a Artic Shield suit was the best money I ever spent on cold weather gear. Keeps me in the stand all day in Kansas with the wind blowing 30 mph and 30 degree temps!!!

That's a toss up depending on the terrain, conditions, and elements your hunting... In my opinion you can't go wrong with the quality and versatility of a Jackal Ghillie suit.

I find that most of Cabela's clothing is pretty well made, and they offer their clothing in multiple patterns. I have a whole dresser with nothing but camo, several different complete patterns. And I have a ghillie (when my daughter isn't using it). But lately have been bucking the trend and not wearing camo at all. Last animal I killed was in blue jeans, a dark blue Omni-Freeze top, and wearing a black cowboy hat. I know you didn't ask for patterns, but Cabela's Seclusion 3D OPEN COUNTRY, is pretty awesome for the panhandle.

Chuck Adams killed allot of animals bow hunting in Blue jeans and flannel shirts, before he had to wear camo to sell stuff. The few times I have hunted the pan handle, I just took camo bibs and jacket. had wrangler camo jeans and whatever camo shirts I had at the time. I think a cam bib and jacket set up is the most convenient way to be out and easy to layer (especially if wearing long-johns ta boot. As little time a year we wear out camo, I'm not sure spending allot on high dollar camo is worth it? your likely to gain weight and they dont fit anyway LOL. I had to throw out 4 airs of like new wrangler camo jeans because of the "increasing waist syndrome"

Sorry I meant to ask in the original post if anyone had tried kings camo? Kinda wonder about the quality of it and fit. I have read some camo is more of an athletic fit.
