I usually carry at least my S&W Airweight .38 in my front pocket all the time and a lot of times my Glock 42 on my right hip as a combo. When I can, I carry one of my CZ 75's. Occasionally a Glock 17 or 41. When I can't carry something large because of attire I carry a Ruger LCP. No excuse not to be able to fit that thing in a pocket holster. When I'm feeling nostalgic I carry my S&W Model 65 3 inch in a Galco Jackass shoulder rig and switch it out with my Model 15 from time to time.

Xdsc for regular carry. Have a colt snubby .357 and a 1911 I also rotate with

Depending on dress/weather:
G19 with 127gr Ranger T +P+ in a CompTac Minotaur or an AIWB holster I've been experimenting with.
Kahr CM9 147gr HST in in NorCal Custom Kydex AIWB

Call me crazy, but I'm like your dad cousin and uncle, I don't carry a pistol unless I'm going to check hog traps. Ive never felt a need and doubt I ever will.

I don't carry much these days like I did when I was a business owner and toting large sums of cash.
For me, KISS....S&W 38, .38 Special with the shrouded hammer. Mine is the Taurus version but I have more than one. This one though is a warm weather favorite because of it's weight and contour.

The tiny Ruger LCR-357 mag carries well.

Colt commander .45 in a bodyguard holster made by D.M. Bullard. Ruger1980....those S & W's are beautiful! Whish I still had my 29...

Kahr CW9 or Glock 19 during the week. Ruger SR1911 on Sundays. All are shot weekly to ensure familiarity with them

I love my Mosins but really you want to do an open carry and choose a Mosin?! I was going to say something about that. At least be classy about it and choose a Garand or M1A.

I carry an H&K P7. The P7 is, in my own meandering opinion, the perfect carry pistol.
Respectable caliber
8+1 capacity
Slim
Excellent bore axis
Fixed barrel
Safe as hell due to the squeeze cocking mechanism
Accurate
Fluted chamber (will extract and eject without an extractor)
Dead nuts reliable
Building, shooting, and buying machine guns of all shapes and sizes.
