Looks like ya scratched it............Nice ! No that is an inclusion from the original use from the sawblade when it was being used as a saw in the old mill. I like to leave things like that in as well as the pitting from before I start to forge it gives it its own character that way and why I love to use reclaimed high carbon quality tool steels and why I stick with them for my preference, I love that steel and heat treat it all properly start to finish. Thanks for the nice comments guys<><
