d the itch to work this one into a smaller to medium sized camp all purpose knife for cutting or chopping. I hand textured the bolster for extra grip and to add a different look to it. Thanks<><

No that is an inclusion from the original use from the sawblade when it was being used as a saw in the old mill. I like to leave things like that in as well as the pitting from before I start to forge it gives it its own character that way and why I love to use reclaimed high carbon quality tool steels and why I stick with them for my preference, I love that steel and heat treat it all properly start to finish.
