You are more than welcome to look at all of our pictures (more pics from the big ranch coming soon since the axis are growing right now) and determine if you consider our animals trophy quality. I can tell you that we have killed axis from 28" to 36". It just depends on what characteristics the client considers trophy quality. I personally do not guarantee a specific inch length on the axis simply because I do not dart/trap and measure every one on the ranch and I am not perfect. I'd rather you shoot the animal because you're pumped about his qualities and the hunt you've had instead of shooting because I told you I think he's 35". My goal is to always get you on the biggest animal on the ranch and ensure that you have a great hunt. If that works for you let's hunt and gurantee you'll have a good time.

From the pics, I would say that 30 incher wouldnt be a problem if your patient. Pic 3 is a awesome Axis

Ok...a few more questions. $100/yr to join, $100/day to hunt plus $1700 for the kill....and of course an out of state hunting license (since I live in Mississippi) ....is there a minimum # of days to hunt or just hunt until you get your kill? Do you allow crossbows? I just started bow hunting last season and did very well (5 deer: 2 bucks and 3 does...since that's what we're allowed per season) all with my crossbow. Have been practicing with my compound and should be ready and comfortable to shoot with it in the fall. I am very interested....would love that Axis mount to go beside my 12pt whitetail and the beautiful rug that it will make.

Yes. You are correct. The $100/yr gets you your membership and you will save money on any hunting or fishing trip with me for one full year. $100/day is the guide/lodging fee. $1700 is the kill fee after you take your animal. Yes crossbows are welcome. And your out of state non resident special 5 day license will be $48 and will allow you to kill any exotic and hogs here in TX.

Sorry. I missed the part about the days. No there is not a set number of days on the exotic hunts

what type bow hunting do you offer ? spot & stalk,ground blind hunting, tree stand hunting ? how far are the shots set up to bow hunt? is it over feeders ? water holes? are meals included in lodging? or can you cook at lodge. Forrest

Bowhunting from tripods and brush blinds. Meals aren't included but you can cook at the lodge or we have meal options at $50 per day. There is a feed route run everyday and you would hunt an area of the route. Shot will be anywhere from 10 to 25 yards
