got a bushy 6.8 spc on the way a carbine . I plan on using rifle for deer and pig inside 150 to 200 yards tops, what scope inside 300 dollars would yal recommend, am going to do a bit of night hunting over feeder lights to .
NRA all the way god guns and guts made us free , i want all three

I put a Leupold 3.5x10x50 on my 6.8. A tad more than 300 but works great.

yeh am really looking at leupold , just put a 4/12 vx I on a 22/250 and really like it, have any of yal used the new redfields are they decent scopes for the money, hey revoman I see you are from Abilene I have kin in Blackwell and hunt the hickman ranch most ever year

If you can swing a bit more I think the VXR 2-7 is about ideal for a 6.8

Been thru Blackwell a bunch heading to Oak Creek. About all I know about that part. Good looking country around there.

I've got a Stag Mod 7h (6.8) that I'm using for the same purpose. I had a Nikon Pro-Staff on it which will no longer sight in (after 1 season). I'm thinking of a Leupold as well but it's hard to fork over the $...

I really like the Leupold on my AR. If you shoot at night, the Fire dot on the Mark ARs and VXRs is well worth the extra cost. If you just shoot in the day, don't spend the extra on the illuminated reticle IMO.
