Thinking of selling a rifle. Any experiences and recommendations on which online service to use? Really don't want to worry about kraiglist type confrontations. Would prefer local sales where I don't need to meet and greet in some far away county, or FFL across state lines. Have never done this before. Ready for your thoughts! Thanks.

Try the classifieds on here or maybe gunbroker. The most economical and simplest way would be a local sale through a posting in the classifieds on here.

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

The most economical and simplest way would be a local sale through a posting in the classifieds on here. x 2. BTW, Craigslist doesn't allow posts for gun sales.

I've done a few face to face sales from the classifieds on this forum. Never had a problem with any of the guys I have done deals with.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I've bought and sold on Texas Gun Trader with no real issues. You just have to be careful and make sure to be clear in your communications. I always tell people I need ID and a bill of sale and I always meet them somewhere where there's a lot of people around.

In addition to THF classifieds, if you have a Facebook account there are several classified Facebook pages for selling guns in the central Texas area. Just search "central Texas gun" and you will find them.

This forum is good, Facebook is good but the audience/experience is similar to that of Craigslist...lots of interest and lots of flakes. I would start here in the classifieds...
