So tried to put an upgraded trigger in my SA range officer 1911 and well this "easy job" has turned into a nightmare. Looking for a shop or individual that would can get my gun back together in a reasonable time frame.

Thanks I finally was able to get the gun back to working order with the stock parts. Probably just going to return the trigger kit and use a gun smith to do some work later on

Most parts on a 1911 including the trigger are not drop in and require fitting of some type. Wilson Combat parts in my experience tend to need the least fitting, but it still needs to be done. Wilson makes a complete gunsmith DVD which will show you how to do quite a bit of things yourself with the right tools and patience.

When I first started taking apart 1911's youtube became my friend. Ha.

I use scott weichel in wylie for all my gun work. I have a 1911 I am going to have him do some work on soon.
