What kind of software? Only thing I know of is quickload or something like that, personally have never used it but heard it is worth having.

Ballistic/loading software. Know about quickload but curious of any others out there like RSI or Sierra.

I use QuickLOAD and I like it a lot. You have to be on your toes and recognize that the results it generates are not published data (and just how far do you trust published data, anyway???) but the way you can play with various parameters can be pretty enlightening. I highly recommend it.
Another program I have used is Load From a Disk. It's not near as flexible as QL but it works within bounds. It costs about a third as much as QL.
If asked, I'd recommend saving up the coin for QuickLOAD. It costs three times as much but is fifty times as capable.
