Have you ever heard of them. Are they good guns? They sell pretty cheap. What y'all think about them

One of the few guns made you can play Russian Roulette with while the muzzle is pointing away from you.

Ok, which model? JA22, JA25, JA32 and JA380 are decent contrary to they reputation. Youtube them is the best I can say. there is a forum for them www.bryco-jennings-jimenezarms.com you can lurk on. I have a Jennings J22 which is the same as a JA22 and they are fun to shoot. I did a fluff and buff on the slide and ramp and it functions great. The key is you need to keep it clean, oiled and use CCI minimags. The Ja9 is ok at best, I would get a hipoint C-9 for the same price.

All depends on what you want to use it for. If you need concealed carry get a taurus TCP380 from academy for $199 something bigger for truck or home then a Hipoint in either 9mm,.40 and .45. The 40 and 45 are the same frame and bigger then the 9mm. All these function best with FMJ ammo.

I have a Jennings-9, which is now called Jimenez 9. It's a blow-back 9mm. Most people say that isn't possible but they did it.

It jams. I have yet to find any ammo that feeds reliably. It will feeds pointy fmj bullets about 70% of the time and will not feed hollow points or flat nose ammo at all.

Mail it to me, I'll pay for the shipping, and I'll put it in the forge, then on the anvil and beat it into something useful.

Other than that, it's a paper weight.

Hey Guys

I have the .25 ACP JA pistol and it shoots fine - is the same size as the .22 JA ( very small )

.32 JA is bigger than the .22 and .25 pistols ...

I wanted a cheap gun to slip in my pocket at the deer lease that would not weigh my pants down...

Paid like $100 for it - had it over a year - No rust and I've never cleaned it - just a fun little pistol

It's not a quality firearm for sure - nor is it a self protection carry piece either...

but it's not junk - just a very inexpensive very small pistol

Just my 2 cents...

I like Jimenez Arms story also:

Jennings Arm was sued in California after an accidental discharge - court held them at fault ....

They went bankrupt and were out of business - some or maybe just one of the machinist bought the design of the pistols and moved out of California to Las Vegas set up new factory

The history of firearms design and manufacturing is full of stories like Jennings/Jimenez arms - they kept the company going and did not let the California court BS shut them down - which was the point all along - step by step dismantling of the firearms industry ...

Again just my 2 cents........

My dad has a 9... I've shot a couple clips through it
Didn't jam but must be the most inaccurate pistol I've ever shot

I bought one at the "get the guns off the street, Gun Buy Back"
I gave $60 for the cheap piece of CARP! 25 acp wouldn't even make a good throw down gun.
