Looking to do a barrel swap on my Remmy 600.
And also looking to do a bolt mod on it as well.

I don't know any Gunsmiths in the area but am curious about what you are wanting done to the bolt.

Believe he wants it replaced to a straight shank or slightly swept like a 700.

600's have a dog leg type bolt handle that is going forward. It will take either cutting it of and soldering a new one on plus stock work for handle inlet. Other option is to bend your own to try and use existing stock without modification.

I have another 600 bolt coming and was wanting to put a 7 or 700 bolt handle on it. I will keep my factory 600 bolt assembly as is along with the factory stock

Remember you will have to have it fitted properly. Headspace checked/adjusted and likely the bolt nose modified.
