LOL! Nice. I don't know what he said at the end, but I know what I would have said!
I had this happen to me with a sow many years ago. She charged 2 of us after opening up on her when turkey hunting with #4 shot (only ammo we had). I shot twice, and she circled back around a tree and charged us. I put the front bead on her head and shot the last round in the shotgun (can only carry 3 rounds), and dropped her about 10 steps in front of us. She slid to a stop just like the buffalo did on Dances with Wolves. It definitely got the blood flowing! That's the only time I've had one charge (on purpose).

so the hog was tring ta get away from the dog, & the hog figured he could out run the guy.  but a hog cant out run a bullet. am guessing that could be it

If he was French, it was probably a failed attempt to surrender to the hog. lol calling  on the charge though. many educated, knowledgeable, experienced and high post-count members have already stated that hogs don't charge. he just happened to be standing where the hog wanted to run.
