Yesterday we set up in a cove that was holding a couple hundred tank turds the day before. We went in a shot our 8, then moved to the big water to finish out limit with 4 cans. We ended up shooting 4 but one dove before Avery got to it, and it never came up. Stupid divers. Eat your heart out Elder, these are some pretty jacks!   We went back today to try the same thing, but it didnt work at all. managed 1 bluebill and 1 hen can. O well. ya win some, ya lose some.
I like spoonie, his humor is dryer than my duck lease.

Just curious, I hunt in Louisiana and there is no limit on Ringnecks. We can shoot 6. There is a limit on Scaup. You post said "we shot our 8". Is there a limit on Ringnecks in Texas?

Just curious, I hunt in Louisiana and there is no limit on Ringnecks. We can shoot 6. There is a limit on Scaup. You post said "we shot our 8". Is there a limit on Ringnecks in Texas? No, we could have shot 6 each, but we wanted to set up and shoot our 2 canvasbacks each. We left the ring neck hole
