Headed down to hunt in Winnie Friday and LaBelle Saturday and Sunday. Family said there are some geese down there.

JPaul's pics helped too.

There is lots of ducks in the marsh south of Winnie but they are some smart sons of guns! We had a good shoot Saturday when we had a little fog for cover but Sunday they kicked our [censored]! Good luck!

Im hoping. Taking my dad and brother. Dad is getting a little older and cant walk the marsh anymore but loves hunting ducks. Just want to get another chance to sit in a blind with him again. It will be awesome even if we dont get a shot off. Anything extra will just add to the memory.

We went Saturday am and only saw about a dozen birds. We must not be in the right spot. We were a few miles south of Winnie.

Live to hunt, hunt to live.

Uh oh. The guys at Pipkin Ranch say they have been doing great but you know how birds are here one day gone the next. Hopefully we will see some but just getting down there to hunt with my dad will be worth it.
