Dropped mine in the water all the way to the mud, poured out the water from the barrel as I was picking it up to double on gwt, love mine and wouldn't get rid of it for anything.

I've hunted with two people that had new Super Vincis last year. Both of them complained about the back of the trigger guard hitting them in the middle finger everytime they pulled the trigger.

Winchester SX3 is my most recent purchase, and I hope it's my last... I have several shotguns and had a nelli at one time, IMO there's no comparison in any to my SX3

Bought it when it first came out 4 years ago..love it..haven't change out a single part..everything still function flawless Same here. Shoot about 2 cases for dove and 2 more for duck each year plus a few rounds of clay and it's still kickin. Didn't clean it for about 2.5 years when I did it had sticks seeds and dirt literally falling out. Then I ran over it this dove season, still works. It's been dunked frozen heat treated on 100 degree dove days and the best part is its light. Which is great for walking in

I like chocolate.
I like vanilla.
Very bias/opinionated topic every time they come up of gun choice. But IMO and experience you can't go wrong with the Benelli or other B's.
Shoot what fits and feels the best for you! Enjoy and good luck with new gun.

Try out the Black Eagle 2 when you go look at them again. Mine is about 7 years old and going strong.

well its not even close to the lighest 12ga on the market but it is the ugliest I have one and its not even close to my go to gun its a good gun but IMHO there are a lot of better guns out there. ask your friends if you can shoot there guns go shoulder all the guns at the local sporting goods store

Before considering the gun you need to shoulder an M2 and see which one feels better.
If you are talking about the super Vinci then you need to shoulder the super black eagle 2.
Pick which feels best. You will kill more birds and have an excellent gun no matter the choice.

They are about the ugliest gun I've ever seen, other than that they're supposed to be good guns. A friend of mine has a Super Vinci and seems to like it. I bought a Beretta A400 Xtreme earlier this year and love it. It's definitely a softer shooting gun than the Super Vinci. Check out the A400 before you pull the trigger on the Vinci.

my dad got one last week. besides being ugly the dang safety is on the front of the trigger guard. get the SBE II and be done with it.

Love my Super Vinci. It has a different look but it's grown on me. It really softens recoil. Finish stands up to all weather. Mine is a couple of months old so it has the improved trigger guard. The safety is in front of the trigger but the rear of the guard doesn't hit your middle finger.

Got a Super Vinci last Christmas as an upgrade from a '78 1100. The trigger guard got me a few times but I adjusted. I learned what the Benelli "click" is. That sucked but I've adjusted. I shot so much better with my old 1100 for months but I've also adjusted to the lighter weight and feel.
The good...I love the look but I'm obviously in the minority. Recoil is good. Dropped it in water and it shoots. I put my gear, gun included, through hell and its holding up fantastic so far. Water, mud, lack of cleaning, etc...after adjusting to a few things, it's a great gun.

I have a SBEII a Super Vinci & a Beretta A400 extreme the A400 is by far a better shooting gun & without a doubt it has 60 to 70% less recoil than my SBEII You need to shoot every model that you can get your hands on they all will get the job done I like shooting the remington hyper sonics but I wont shoot them with the super vinci or the sbeII way too much recoil.

Shoulder a Beretta A 400. What a great gun. I agree all of the high end guns are good. I is all about the fit in order to kill birds.

I think the A400 extreme is the best all around shotgun ever made. That being said I have a model 37 that I had choke tubes installed at brileys and it is a duck killn machine. Just find one that you like and go kill some birds then give us a report.

For the folks saying the beretta is softer shooting, this is a given die to being gas operated. On a different note a benelli is a much cleaner gun due to inertia driven instead of gas. Pick your poison. Both great guns

Well beretta claims on the new A400 that yoo can go 10,000 rounds before it needs to be cleaned. I have about 1500 thru my A400 excel without a cleaning None of my 4 benelli will cycle a 7/8oz load all three of my berettas will I like my benellis but they dont compare to the new berettas I have pick my poison & the softer recoil really helps me stay on the birds when hunting its really handy when you are in a layout blind and you raise up and shoot the less felt recoil is pretty dang nice

Pick your poison. Both great guns Never had a problem with any of my Beretta's due to the gas system not being as clean as Benelli's inertia driven system. I'll take less recoil over a gun that shoots a little cleaner, all day long. Like you said, they're both good guns, can't go wrong with either of them.
