It is time soon! My best friend also is buying me an "any buck" hunt while we are there. He is coming along to video all the action. We leave Sunday and hunt Mon-Thurs. It is going to be 1-10 degrees in Iowa so the timing us perfect. Arrows will be flying next week, I will update as we go.

All exotics are. Popularity of hunting year round. It's a sign the economy is improving though. Everything is gradually getting more expensive....but MSU is right, Fallow prices (along with Aoudad) are getting pretty ridiculous. The same Fallow that would have cost you $1,500 five years ago will now cost you $4,000+...that is remarkable, and much more than just your average inflation.

years ago we couldn't give a fallow away and aoudad were so common, people used to let you shoot them for a grand

years ago we couldn't give a fallow away and aoudad were so common, people used to let you shoot them for a grand Things go in streaks, it seems right now it's aoudad and fallow, tomorrow who knows. If anything has dropped back, it's regular Japanese sika, along with Corsican rams and Catalina goats.

Call me crazy, but id be willing to bet he means that there is a great Sika on the ground. Not "Great, Sika prices are going down............."

Trying hard for a fallow now, but they will not cooperate. 5 hunts and not 1 in range so far. Rickey has some huge ones I would live to get a crack at. I am a red deer and sika magnet though..

Ive heard people starting adding up how high the cost was to feed aoudad and realized they werent making $ of them, yoh can still find some good deals on fallow, thers just a few places overcharging for them
