 12-26 Not much but got a mixed bag

Of two! Had a single come in around 7am.... whiffed as he raced by the decoys.  Competed with about 4 other bodies of water within a 1/4 mile and one had some birds dropping in, but none came my way. Geese were getting up going to wheat field. Happened to have one group fly behind me. 
 No bad days hunting

I had several flocks fly in 15 to 2 minutes before legal. Close to 50 birds.
Sent the dog out to flush them hoping they would come back if I didn't shoot.
One Susie came back and was culled from the gene pool.
If it had only been just a little overcast.
Drat ,
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Drat , Next time just set up where they can see you and don't let them set. They will keep buzzing around. I never get down till about 2 or 3 minutes before LST. I think letting them all set then spooking them doesn't work as good as them smelling a rat with you up. It usually keeps them buzzing around till LST.
