There has to be a story behind this. Were the deer released behind a high fence or a large free range situation? Just wondering about predators and such, or the "meaner than a junk yard dog buck theory".

Had a friend lose some to EHD this year. He raises them for photography; not hunting and that's even worse. Each deer can represent 10 years of photos.
Practice doesn’t make perfect.

My friend is a big boy with deep pockets but it still sux to see any game wasted.
