Shot a Chill last week, smooth bow but really not any smoother than a Strothers IMO.

Not sure about the Chill but read a bow review on 2013 bows and the Creed came in 7th place out of 10 bows reviewed. Never shot one but worth a trip to your archery shop and try them both out. Most bows in that price range are all good quality, just a matter of preference and what feels good to you.

Lol they ran out of ideas. Just change the draw lengths and brace heights basically. Lol.

I'm probably gonna get the Creed when i'm at my max draw.

I think hookem was talking about the newest ones from Mathews. The Chill "R" and the Creed "XS". Well I haven't shot either, but, can't wait to.

Dang I was looking forward to this thread when I saw the title. Mathews did not make any news bows this year, they just massaged old bows so they could call them new. I love Mathews, unfortunately they have done very little new with their bows in the last 5 years.

Gotta stick with my Z-7. It's paid for. It's sweet.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Haven't tried one of those, but did go shoot the ZXT. Thinking about getting a short ATA bow for some of my tight stands and it shot great. I'm not sure how well it'll do at longer distances but at the shop 20 yard range I liked it.

HeliM. Picked it last year after blind testing 5 bows. Shot em all, picked 3. Shot again, discarded another. Shot several arrows w the last 2 and said "I'll take this one. What is it?"

Love it. And it always gets great reviews from the guys writing about it. Haven't seen a single story trashing it (albeit there are some that trash Mathews as a whole just to trash Mathews,;...)

Go test shoot 'em!

Pretty much my thoughts, I didn't think the chill was any smoother then my old elite GTO. It's a touch smoother then my insanity but then again its not as fast either.

Never been a single cam fan so hard for me to really like a single cam, just do to the backwall difference, therefor my thoughts on the creed arent really important.
