How were the prices?

Blackbuck does from $170 to around $275. Males from $150 to around $1400. Ibex X males from $100 to $500. Some fare looking Persian type females around $600.Aoudad males from $100 to $2600. Females from $100 to $300. 2 year old axis males from $375 to $450. One 3 year old went for $450 but he had a busted bottom lip. Sika, different kinds went from $250 to $1400. Fallow males from $1000 to $2050. Red deer females from $150 to $400. Red deer males from $700 to $2000. They had a few Piere David females. From $250 to $485.

not bad prices, were going to drag the trailer to raz after the first of the year and see if we cant find some deals.

Don, did they run any Mouflon Rams?

They had a really nice one at huntsville a couple weeks ago that looked like your wide 2yo you have. He went for $450. If I had room in the trailer I would have got him instead of the dang catalina I had already bought.

Yeah I know he was nice, i just didnt have room and they couldnt hold my animals for 3 das for me.

I went this afternoon to your axis lease. Saw 3 two year old males and about 10 females. They must be starting to move a bit. Have not seen many Axis for a while.

Man i need to make it down there, hopefully it all works out for us and we can set some dates up this fall. Ill let you know when work slows down.

What's the bst sale going now 20 years ago i went to every exotic sale in texas but have'nt been in years. meet my wife at the sale in tyler texas her dad owned the sale barn.had a ranch right across the hwy from the sale in lampasas when clyde casstleberry had it!really miss going to them.

I liike Huntsville but it gets packed and prices are a little high IMO. Raz is nice but havent been to it in a long time but hear prices have been decent out there.

If you want a real quality auction go to the YO. Very good animals and very good facilities. It is like the difference in staying at a cheap motel and a Marriott.

I've never been to raz but drove past it a couple weeks ago. don hit the nail on the head.

Yea i used to love to go to the YO sale great animals and great food i uaed to go with Buddy Jordan and he always had a cabin there . they used to have a big party after the sale with big name bands and lots of awesome food!! and Tommy at huntsville always had good stuff!

Raz was very poor this month. Very few animals, poor quality and very high prices........due to the limited number of critters. It was the first time I've been in 4-5 years.

Were there any mouflon there? If so, what were the prices?

Those prices look low for this time of year. Still good prices, just lower that what I would expect.
