I cant go hunting till saturday and the stupid weather is back up to lows in the 50 and high of 72!!! good luck to the guys who get to go this week..

Yeah me. I'm probably going to sit on stand all day Wednesday. Bucks have started searching and may be a good day. Better than working.

Good ol' Mother Nature never lets us forget that this is Texas. She dangles the cold weather carrot in front of our noses, then in a couple days, she yanks it away from us.

Next week the temp is supposed to drop to 40's again come Tuesday. I will be home this weekend and I'll ask the law (my wife) if I can hunt Tuesday through Friday. Looking forward to it.

I am in the same boat as the OP, but going out for all day saturday and sunday hunts. Worst that can happen is we see nothing (already has happened all season) and the best that can happen is the rut will have the boys moving around looking for love in all the wrong places. Will try some rattling if things aren't moving in the AM but still hoping. I hope it does rain or at least keeps the sun out, as the sun always makes things feel warmer.
Hunt, hunt, hunt. It is about time for things to go nuts at my place.
