OP DiverTexas THF Trophy Hunter D Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 8,641 Austin	Cactus came from my lease in San Saba, Mesquite came from Jason Fry in Abilene and the Damascus from Alabama Damascus. One went to a THF member and the other went to a good friend. I really like the cactus scales, just wish they were more readily available. www.trimblecustomknives.com

It is first burned, then allowed to rot, the "maggots" eat everything except the veins. The veins are then processed, cleaned and bleached and then dried.
