Good luck everyone this year has sucked for me so far. Was stuck offshore for opening weekend of bow season and now back out here for the opener of gun. They better hide when I hit land 2 weeks of hunting!!!

Had good movement in fort bend co. Seeing plenty bucks every hunt but few does. 4 bucks so far this morning, no shooters, mainly scrubs beside a big 6 that i have never seen during daylight

I'm here in sw Taylor county. Didn't see a deer all day yesterday, but I did see about 15 turkey and caught 2 hogs in the trap. Nothing yet this am.....

De Witt Co. Saw a few around 6:00, but too dark to resolve what. Since then, a little 4-point. Hearing a number of shots, but the oilfield traffic is really active. I'll stay until 9:00, as it'll just get noisier.

Goliad County. Low 40's this morning with a slight breeze. Deer moved good from daylight till 8. Saw 8 does, 1 fawn and 1 small buck. Neighbor shot once missed, shot again quickly and hit then followed up a minute or so later with another shot. Deer were really jumpy this morning.
