I sent a brand new Browning A5 in to Browning on June 4th of this year and have still not received it back. The metal piece that attaches the forearm to the receiver fell off after shooting about 100 rounds. I tracked the repair through Browning but it just says that they are waiting on back ordered parts. Has anyone else had difficulty with the service department at Browning?

Never used Browning Service, used McClelland's Gun Shop in Dallas, they are authorized Browning Warranty shop.

I had an A-bolt that developed a crack in the stock a few years ago and the gun was several years old. I called them and they said send it in and they would fix it free of charge. I received the rifle back a few days later with a brand new stock.

I have a brand new a5 ultimate that I need to send back(less than 100 rounds). It has a weak firing pin or spring and will not shoot consistently. I'm very disappointed in it so far. The local browning authorized dealer says that they cannot work on the new a5 yet.

Have them send it back for you.
