How many deer rifles do you take to your lease. I live 60 miles from our lease and usually stay for at least 2-3 days when I go. I always take 2 rifle just in case something happens.

Yep..
I usually bring way more than I should because I may be sighting in a new optic or working up a load on some rifle.

I went out last Friday and started pulling stuff out of the safe, only to put some back in!

This weekend I will take 2

2 deer rifles, a 30-30 hog gun, and a .22 for rabbits and coons.

I'll be hunting with four different brands and caliber of rifles this year, just to throw the deer off. No Savages though. clap

I always take at least two, and most times more, depending on what type of hunting I will be doing.

I would hate to lose hunting time due to a dropped rifle or some other damage while so far away from home.

Two. Primary weapon is either my bolt action 7mm mag or AR10 in 308. My backup is my AR15 that is carried in the RZR. Also carry a sidearm (either 357 mag or S&W 40).

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

I always carry 2 weapons into the field with me. I learned that lesson when I was 10 and had a firing pin fail on me dove hunting in Kansas. I had to wait till my buddy limited out so I could use his gun. That sucked.

Only one. But I will often switch to a different one on the next trip if I feel I need a boost in luck, not that I'm superstitious or anything like that.

I am simple, 308 for the deer, 10mm for anything close. My son on the other hand.....

1895 in 30-06, Iron Sights
25-06 with scope when the deer are too far away for the iron sights.
AR-15 when the sounder of pigs comes a-calling
and the 45 on the hip, just because.

Like the Scouts say, "Be Prepared!"

Three.

.300 WSM for deer (primary)
6.8 SPC AR-15 for pigs, coyotes and a backup deer gun.
17hmr to terrorize the p-dogs.

I have no guns. ninja

But if I did I'd probably take a Tikka .308, Mod. 70 .270 and/or a Mod. 700 .30-06.
