This is currently in present day, Big Cedar, Leflore County, Oklahoma, in the Winding Stair Mountain range. Fifty-five miles north of Broken Bow and five miles west of the Arkansas state line. OP wfhunter Bird Dog W Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 313 Fort Worth, Texas	I wish I did have one of his guns. My brother has one of our Grandfather's Silva Keith's lever guns. It is a Marlin 1895 in 38-55, manufactured in 1898. I borrowed it and hunted with it this last deer season. I took three pigs, a Spike, and a Jake with it. I really had a good time with it. I call it my grand slam. I never used my modern rifle the whole season. After, I returned the gun to him.

Orville and one of his sons (my G Grandfather) and his family ( my grandfather) left Georgia in 1901 after Orville's wife died. I have photos of my G Grandfather named Roberston Tabor Keith. He is not in these photos. He was very handsome, like Burt Reynold's, but also looks mean as hell. Story's of Orville was that he was the meanest SOB on this earth! LoL!! Lucky he was here, or I would not be! He died in 1927, Tabor in 1952, my grandpa Silva in 1970. I was 10 years old when he passed. I have some memories of him. He was a skilled outdoorsman. He loved to trap. He won many awards for his pelts. I will post a few more photos I have that are in the outdoors. One of OC in Georgia just before leaving, and a couple of my my Grandpa Silva in the 40s- 50s.
