I don't have any cameras up yet and was wondering what yall are seeing north of cisco? Closest town to me would be Moran.

I was going to be a smart *#@ lol but I hunt near Moran, I don't have cameras out either but the ones I have seen while on the lease seem to look in very good health and the few I have seen look to have decent size racks on them. Way better than last couple years but also they are in velvet (well some of them) which makes them all look big to me!

The deer where I work just north of Breckenridge are in great shape and seem to be ahead of last years bucks antler wise.

Look like the deer South of Cisco to me, or at least the ones I saw Tuesday did. Bucks are in good shape some of the does nursing fawns look rough but that is not uncommon in that area

Much better than the last three years. aeb has a place up there. He usually has pictures by now. Jcarlson also had a place between Cisco and Breckenridge.

I'm about 6 miles south of Albany off of 6 and they are looking pretty good. I have not seen any fawns though and we have been feeding for 3 months.

I'm about 5 miles west of Moran between the weather ball and hubbards creek. Will be pulling pics for first time this year tomorrow and will hopefully have some good pics for you on Thursday or Friday.

It must be good, yesterday I saw all kinds of stuff being hauled out to the pastures. Trucks and trailer loaded with blinds and feeders were like a convoy going through Cisco.

pulled camera pics this weekend for the first time this year. IMO,horns are down a bit year on year. had some bucks we expected to improve that showed no improvement and other mature bucks that actually declined. i'd been told to expect this from a few hunters around albany, but still surprised it was actually the case. body weight and fawn recruitment looked very promising however and we will be looking to take does and mgt bucks this year as opposed to letting the drought managae our numbers like it has the past few years. good rain since mid summer but seems to have occured too late for great antler development in our area.

Has anyone in this area checked they're cams lately? Just wondering if the bucks have shed the velvet yet?
