Heading to Haskell in the morning for a 3 day dove hunt and was wondering if there were many birds in the area?

There's good birds for sure. No reason you shouldn't have a good hunt!!! From what I saw last night I think we picked up some new birds with that front.

I hunted near there Sunday/Monday. Sunday was slow, Monday was dismal. Didn’t see many doves, didn’t hear many shots off in the distance. Hope you have far better conditions and success than we did!

we hunted with a guide out of the Haskell area (Justin Hill) and hunted south of Haskell near Anson on Sunday and Monday. Most of our group limited out (good shooters) and the rest came very close. We were covered in white wings Sunday morning and covered up with regular mourning doves on Monday. It sure is hard to beat a guide service that has done all of the scouting for you. costs more but there is a definite benefit in what they do.
