They don't call it God's country for nothing!  Pitchfork Predator (Marc) invited me and Stub, and our 2 boys, out to his lease for a dove hunt in west Texas, man I tell ya Texas don't get much better than this. Marc and Stub grew up together, and my kid and Stub's kid are school buddies. I appreciate the invite Marc, we had great time. BTW, that pic above, I see a group teal land back there we are dove hunting, I ask Marc "You got water back there? " He said yeah there is a river back there, I went for a hike looking for those teal and took that pic. Breath taking it was... More pics below.. We got there Saturday afternoon getting all situated,,  Marc and Stub talking Ryan to shoot a pig..  Open morning pics...Ryan...  Marc...  Me and Ryan thought this was a humming bird, looks like a moth, not sure what the heck it is..  Cowboy shack they call it, dang cool...  After the morning hunt we went for a dip...That is Stub, his boy Wyatt, and my son Ryan...  The 2 boys...

 Tailgate pic with the boys, we killed 43 birds on Sunday. Amazing, the birds kinda flew steady all day, in fact it was slow in the morning and evening, never seen anything like it...  Eating a little brawts that night, and Ryan eating some left over T-Bones we had Friday night....   Monday morning, we saw a lot more action...   Pic below I took, I hike up a hill, you can see Wyatt down on the right, Marc and Ryan in the pic but hid, and Stub off to the right...   Everyone cutting up after the morning hunt, Stub telling stories about all the birds he missed, lol..  Pics of the Cowboy Shack and the Monday morning kill... Me Marc and the boys...

Don't think so Lotto. And that big bull is in between Throckmorton and Haskell I believe. Wyman's place was up around Knox City/Benjamin.

And that big bull is in between Throckmorton and Haskell I believe. That is one smart bull, it could easily step over that fence and go to the other side, but the grass is not always greener.

A good time was had by all. Great pics Guy P.S I was being very generous by allowing alot of those poor birdies to live another day, this so all of my good buddies on the THF will have more birds to shoot at when they go

More oil on that side. Right next to that bull is one of the best horizontal oil wells in the whole area. $$$$$!
