I'm about to get my first hunting dog an e collar and I'm trying to decide which one to get him. I'm looking at the dogtra 300 element, or the 280 ncp. What do you use?

Tritronics for me.

Got mine today, but didn't get home in time to do any work with it, judging from the design I'm going to like it.

I talked to my trainer and he recommended the garmin/tri tronics delta. It's the same thing as the tri tronics sport so that's what I'll probably end up getting.

TRI-TRONICS are the only way to go. I bought the classic 70 from Cabelas a few years ago (bargin cave $300). They are built to be used and abused and will last forever. It has 6 shock settings and can be used on up to 6 dogs. It also has a tone (this is all my dogs need now). It also has a 1 mile range.

Tritronics is all I know, they're big and bulky but they last. I've ran mine for 10 years

Tritronics the best. Dogtra for smaller dogs. Have had one for 10 years- just changed battery. Ordered duel collar set as well
