I had never heard of buttermilk pie until BuckRage posted it in an OT thread. You can find the recipe at: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Buttermilk-Pie/I added a little whipped cream to mine...mmm, good!

I was introduced to it about a year ago. It's amazing. Sprinkle sugar on top and brule it, for a extra little texture

My grandmother makes a buttermilk pie that gets fought over every time I take it to the lease. Grown men have come to blows over a stolen piece of it (I may or may not have been one of them).
I love me some buttermilk pie!!
