I've been hunting all over Texas for 25+ years and have never worn camoflage except for hats that were given to me.

www.sunflowercamo.net We have worn it from Illinois to Colorado to south Texas it blends in everywhere. Don't let the name fool you, it works and is very inexpensive to buy.

In the end, does camo make any difference at all if you are sitting in a blind? Don't think so. Smell on the other hand...go get ya some of that fancy scent eliminator stuff...just kidding!!
Remember, camo is just another of many tools a hunter can use to bag prey. I wouldn't get caught up in any "super-special" patterns specific to this type of Texas habitat any more than I would get caught up in the hype of specific scent eliminators or other gimmicks. A hunter can hunt prey without any of that.
Now, if you have the money to burn and feel the strong need to get something, do so; but I have never heard of a south texas hunter talk about how that huge buck got spooked by his woodland camo pattern...
