We are proud to introduce the latest cooler in the Grizzly lineup, the Grizzly 16. Please let us know what you think.

DECORAH, Iowa — Grizzly Coolers introduces the new Grizzly 16 Cooler. The Grizzly 16 is the smallest of the Grizzly Cooler family and is designed to be tough and portable.

“We designed the Grizzly 16 to be the perfect cooler for every day adventures,” said Bryan Waskow of Grizzly Coolers.

Able to hold 20 12-ounce cans or 10 20-ounce bottles, the Grizzly 16 has inside dimensions of 14.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep and 11 inches high. Outside dimensions measure 20 inches wide, 11.5 inches deep and 14.5 inches high.

It’s easy to take the Grizzly 16 anywhere, with its standard two carrying handles, shoulder strap and divider.

The Grizzly 16 performs. Made with rotationally molded plastic and insulated with ecomate polyurethane foam, and featuring a gasket seal and insulated rigid lid, the Grizzly 16 maximizes ice retention to keep food and beverages cold. The cooler features a mold in hinge with solid stainless steel pins for durability, mold in handles for extra strength and easy handling and a mold in brass insert latching system.

The Grizzly 16 is the fourth in the Grizzly Cooler line, joining the Grizzly 60, Grizzly 150 and Grizzly 400. All Grizzly Coolers are offered in a variety of colors and all come with a lifetime warranty.

Grizzly Coolers are proudly envisioned and engineered by Iowa Rotocast Plastics, Inc. IRP has been designing, testing, and creating quality rotationally molded coolers since 1983. From start to finish, 100% of Grizzly Coolers are made in Decorah, Iowa, USA.

Guess I will be the first one to sign up for a free trial. Send me a pm and I will give you my address to send my trial cooler to. I will put it through the ringer and keep everyone on THF informed on my review.

I'd say so. But I don't think they have as many size options at this point.

I don't really get the purpose of a 16qt cooler. I have a older Yeti Roadie 25 that I won...they now make them in 20s. The 25 is ok but still small...after ice it does not seems like you could fit more than 10 beers in a 16. I love all these tougher cooler that keep stuff cold longer but for smaller amounts of stuff it does not normally make sense to spend all that money. For larger sizes yes.

I think Grizzly should have put their development money toward a 45qt cooler.

It holds and 18 pack of cans or 8 20oz bottles with plenty of ice to keep the beverages cold.

Here's a link to show how much it holds: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=628710250476507&l=8037348155848422221

It's a great cooler for ATV/UTVs, 4x4 Off road, Farming, transporting growlers, turkey hunting, trout fishing, etc. anything you'd want a heavy duty cooler that will take a lifetime of abuse.

There will be a 75 in July and one around 40 shortly after that. I should add, these are all true quart capacity not just a model number. Thanks for your feedback.

MSRP is $229.99, but you will most likely find varied prices online and at dealers.

So are you saying other brands are saying it's one size but it's not really? Care to give specifics? I know you don't want to bad mouth anyone but facts are facts. So if one says it's 65 qts are you saying it's really 58qts...or 64.5? I'd like specifics because your comment leaves much to the imagination.

There is a cooler company that has a a Dimension Chart with capacities listed. Navigate to their site, select Info then select Dimension Chart.

Not badmouthing, it's just useful to compare sizes. There is nothing wrong with model numbers, we just chose to have our model numbers reflect qt capacity.

Just because I can calculate how much you need to put away in your 401k at a specific rate of return in order to meet your retirement goals at a specific age does not mean I'm going add up quart sizes of cooler for fun. I get paid to lift a calculator haha.

By the way those numbers are kind of sad.... especially the 160 being actually smaller than the 155!
