I think Dickies is pretty safe. Meaning that you know what you're going to get. It isn't the best but it certainly isn't the worst that I've had either. That award would go to Black's BBQ in Lockhart, the BBQ capital of Texas! How they were featured on the Food Network, I'll never know.

Dickies used to be the bomb too. I agree with you though. I won't step foot into a Dickies.

Under quite a few recomendations to go to Shoepfs in Belton. I will never go back and do my best to talk people out of going. The brisket was Rancid at best

Posado's Cafe in Fort Worth off of I35. I went there a few months ago and think I would have been better off getting a frozen dinner and heating it up myself. Plus the salsa seemed watered down.

Another vote. Over priced & not very tasty. I would have rather have picked up a ready made sandwich at a gas station & spent the rest on gas.

I definitely agree with Buffalo Wild Wings, yuck!

But the WORST food on the planet is at Willie's Grill and Ice House.

Kushi Yahma in Amarillo. High dollar food that wasnt good. Ive had better sushi from a convenient store. If you feel like dropping 100 bucks for two people to eat just go to Kabuki, its way better and actually more fairly priced.

Big Texan Restaurant in Amarillo. Lived their for a few years and only ate their once. Terrible. Locals avoid it like the plague.

Several years ago my wife wanted to go because she had heard all the stories. Thank goodness I don't have to do that again!

I feel like Kincaid's burgers of over hyped. They are just okay. We used to try Dickie's but the last trip, years ago, the BBQ tasted like roast and was dry.

X2 on Black's BBQ in Lockhart. We stumbled into that place only a couple weeks ago, and it was crowded, w/line out the door. After eating there tho, we couldn't figure out why the crowd, darn sure wasn't because of the food.

With all the bad BBQ places everyone is mentioning, I would have bet everything I own that Bill Miller's BBQ would have made this list. I think it's awful.

I made my one and only trip to a BJ's about 4 months ago, though it was up in Wichita, KS. Was starving after a long drive and we pulled in there. Worst burger I've ever attempted to eat in my life. Plus, how do you screw up a burger? They found a way.

The other 3 in my car had been sipping Crown since OKC and kept the booze flowing at dinner. While I was in the bathroom, the 3 of them decided we HAD to play credit-card poker to see who got the tab. They'd all had 2-3 cocktails each at dinner, I'd had a diet coke and a crappy burger.

That burger cost me about $200. Once we got to the hotel, I broke out a bottle of whiskey and knocked it out in about an hour. Made for a rough 36 holes the next day.

Screw BJ's.

I love the tomato bisque soup at BJs.

We had a discussion about that same thing last year at the lease. Consensus was those that love Mary's it love for quantity not quality. Lots of a bad thing is still bad IMO
