Went to Jakes in Downtown Fort Worth on 5th and Main.... my goodness folks, this was a great burger. And their sweet potato fries were really good as well.

Burgers and brats in Highland Village is where I prefer if I'm not in Dallas eating at Stackhouse I tried Burgers & Brats based on a recommendation, and I wasn't impressed at all. The place overall was dirty and the food, well, very meh. No flavor at all in the meat.
Custom hay cutting / baling, combining in Southern Dallas / Ellis county; please visit our website or send me a PM for pricing, etc: http://stewart-farms.net/

I've tried a lot of the places mentioned and more. Some where good and some didn't live up to the hype.
It might be from having grown up on them but I like a good ol' Whatabuger every now and then. They're hard to beat in my book.
And you can dump that In and Out crap right in the trash.

yeah my experience at in and out burger was a big disappointment too the burger was good, not great, the fries are no good. i had a beast of a burger last night, the dirty south burger at fish camp in royse city, huge beef/pork patty, bacon, chedder, and bbq sauce, great burger.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

In-N-Out Burger...Whataburger should go open some stores in California if that's suppose to be a good fast food burger.
Monster style, in house ground round or chuck, special sauce...whatever. Haven't had a Big Mac since junior high but thicken the patty a little and I would bet the taste is close. I guess it's all about the t-shirts.
Gonna sound crazy but I had a great burger at Black Eyed Pea off of Coit not too long ago. Snuffer's in DFW isn't too bad either.
Pappa's Burger in Houston off Westheimer is good.

If you are ever out in Hugo, OK and it is still there, (last time I was in Hugo was about 15 years ago) there is a little diner from the 50's there called the Busy Bee Cafe, that place had awesome burgers. I would visit my aunt during the summer for 1-2 weeks at a time and would eat there every day I could get away with it.
If dueling were still legal I think there would be less idiots in charge of things...
