 Got my first pig...

After taking up chasing pigs this last November, I put my first pig on the ground... This youngish boar. I'm guessing ~150 lbs.... Taken near elgin, TX Swedish 6.5 - 150 gr Norma. DRT with a few leg twitches... Now I'm ready to get some sows in the freezer.

Thanks all...
Whose says boars aren't good eating? Wife and I ate the tenderloins last night. There were no complaints. Tasted really nice. Have had the quarters in an ice bath and will start breaking down for the freezer tomorrow after work.

The little 6.5's are fun guns to shoot and that one did a good job on the pig.
