I found 2 buried in leaves on a ranch between Brownwood and Brady. We had big cats confirmed by sightings and sign. Had a lease once near Hye, Tx and the bobcats used our bowhunting platforms as launching pads to get turkeys. Turkeys got to where they would look straight up at the platforms before coming too close. Cats are opportunists.

Thta is exactly what happened to me when I found on the 2. I had shot it late evening before and tracked across a rather deep creek. Since it was very cold I decided to wait until morning. I walked in without my gun. Never again. I just backed out real slow. I know that cat was close.
